But although Quark expects a Ferengi woman to act like a traditional Ferengi woman...he seems not to hold humans/Bajorans/Trills to the same standards consistently. He loves Kira "in uniform"...is madly in love with Dax for most of the series despite her being very non-traditional, and his Dabo girls get treated more and more fairly with time as he softens with exposure to better ways of life.<br /><br />One of the reasons why the Ferengi plot in "The Dogs of War" ticks me off...aside from the fact that the political revolution on Ferenginar happens way way WAAAAAAAYYYYYY too fast to be believable...is that Quark backslides on all of the moral progress he makes throughout the rest of the show.
